Abhijit Chavda

Abhijit Chavda is a theoretical physicist, historian and geopolitical analyst, and one of the most widely followed independent voices on world affairs in India. Born in Gujarat in 1976, he trained as an engineer before taking a master's degree at the Coimbatore Institute of Technology and specialising in theoretical physics — black hole physics, dark matter, dark energy, cosmology and quantum gravity. He has published and co-published research in these areas and has served as a peer reviewer for the international journal Physica Scripta.
Alongside the physics, he built a second body of work in history — writing extensively on Indian and global historical narratives, including a scientific critique of the Aryan Invasion theory. He created the introductory course Bharata: A Biography of the Oldest Civilization, and writes a regular column for Hindu Post.
He is the creator of the #AskAbhijit Show, the Abhijit Chavda Podcast and the Indian Interest Podcast, with a following of over a million across platforms and hundreds of millions of views. His guests have included Mohandas Pai, Dattatreya Hosabale, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Edward Luttwak and Kanwal Sibal.
He represented India at the 2023 G20 proceedings and spoke at the World Hindu Congress 2023 in Bangkok, The Jaipur Dialogues, the India Ideas Conclave and the Pondicherry Lit Fest. He appears regularly on Times Now, Republic TV, TV9 Bharatvarsh and NewsX, and was awarded the Maharshi Narad Award by the then Governor of Maharashtra.
